Installation Guide

Up and running in 2 minutes.

Since the extension isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, you'll install it manually. It's quick and easy — here's how:

Download the extension

Click the download button above to get the extension as a .zip file.

Unzip the file

Right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click to unzip (Mac).

Open Chrome Extensions

Open Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar, and press Enter.

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Load the extension

Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you just unzipped. The Tildea icon will appear in your toolbar.

Sign in & start

Click the Tildea icon, sign in with your tildea.ai account, and start browsing jobs with live scores.

How to Use

Your new job search workflow.

Once installed, the extension works automatically on supported job sites. Here's what you can do:

Browse LinkedIn Jobs

  1. Go to LinkedIn and search for any job
  2. Open a job listing — the Tildea overlay appears automatically
  3. See your ATS match score, keyword gaps, and skill matches in real-time
  4. Click "Save to Tildea" to add the job to your dashboard

  1. Visit your own LinkedIn profile page
  2. The Tildea import button appears on the page
  3. Click it to pull your work experience, education, skills, and summary
  4. Your Tildea profile is now populated — no manual typing needed

Troubleshooting

Common questions.

The extension icon doesn't appear after installing

Click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) in Chrome's toolbar → find "Tildea" → click the pin icon to make it always visible.

I don't see scores on LinkedIn or Indeed

Make sure you're signed in — click the Tildea icon and sign in with your tildea.ai email and password. Then refresh the job page.

My scores seem inaccurate or low

The extension scores jobs against your Tildea profile. Go to your Dashboard → Profile and make sure your skills, experience, and education are filled in completely.

The extension stopped working after a Chrome update

Go to chrome://extensions, find Tildea, and click the refresh (↻) icon. If that doesn't work, remove it and re-load the unpacked folder.

Can I use this on Firefox or Safari?

Currently, the extension is Chrome-only (also works on Brave, Edge, and other Chromium browsers). Firefox and Safari support is planned for a future release.

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, then pin Tildea for quick access.

Fill in your profile first

The extension scores jobs against your Tildea profile. The more complete it is, the more accurate your scores.

Use LinkedIn import first

Visit your own LinkedIn profile page with the extension active — it will offer to import your entire profile in one click.

Auto-updates

When you download a new version, just replace the folder and click the refresh icon on chrome://extensions.
